Claiming CME Credit for Attending a Live Meeting or Event

Claiming credit for attending live AAPM&R meetings or events is now online – making it quick and easy for you to complete your course evaluation, claim your CME credit, and access an electronic CME certificate!

Online access is only available after the conclusion of the live course, and is either currently available or will be available for the following 2008 courses:

  • SP 101: Introduction to Lumbar Spinal Procedures, February 2008
  • SP 201: Intermediate Spinal Procedures, February 2008
  • Sports Medicine Board Examination Review Course, May 2008
  • SP 301: Advanced Spinal Procedures, June 2008

If you recently attended a live course, please follow these steps for completing your course evaluation and claiming your CME credit:

Step 1:

Login to the AcadeME site using your AAPM&R-assigned login information.

  • If you don’t remember your login or password, you can reset this information from the login page by clicking on “Forgot My Login”. Or, call the AAPM&R offices toll-free at 1-877-AAPMR99 for assistance.
  • All course attendees, including non-members, have a login and ID. Do NOT create a new login through the Web site, as you will not be able to access the CME claim form for the course.
Step 2:

Click on My Portfolio either on the home page or along the left navigation.

Step 3:

In your Portfolio, you will find the course you attended listed under My Courses. Click “Launch” and a new browser window will open with access to the course evaluation (if you do not see the window, please turn off your pop-up blocker).

Step 4:

Follow the instructions for completing the course evaluation and claiming CME credit. After you finish the evaluation, be sure to click the Save button when prompted to save your progress and record your credit. The browser window will close once your work has been saved.

Step 5:

After you have saved your work, you can print an electronic CME certificate for this course from your Portfolio page. You can also print your complete CME transcript, which will include the credit you just claimed, by clicking on the View My Transcript link.
