Self-Assessment Exams for Practitioners (SAE-P) |
|
Self-assessment exams are valuable tools that help learners identify their knowledge gaps and provide learning through comprehensive commentary. References included in the exam supply the learner with additional resources. For years the Academy has offered the Self-Assessment Exam for Practitioners (SAE-P) as part of the Study Guide supplement issues distributed annually in March in hard copy format. Now, the SAE-P is available online, in an interactive format for an enhanced learning experience including immediate feedback with explanation and, in most cases, references for each question. Select SAE-Ps include supplemental content such as Study Guide articles while others do not and are more broadly based on a live course or general topic. By expanding the SAE-Ps beyond Study Guide supplement issues, members now have access to a larger variety of topics each year that have more relevance to their practices. Please refer to each SAE-P product description for more information.
Each SAE-P is designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and fulfills the requirement for Part II of Maintenance of Certification® (MOC) set forth by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Lifelong Learning and Self Assessment).
Note: To help you identify the products developed by the Academy that meet the Part II MOC Self-Assessment requirement, we will mark them with this brand:
The number of questions per SAE-P varies from 25 to 112 total questions. Note: The self assessment portion of these activities are meant to be completed in one sitting, and therefore will not “save your place” when you log out.
