Self-Assessment Exams for Practitioners (SAE-P)

For years the Academy has offered the Self-Assessment Exam for Practitioners (SAE-P) as part of the Study Guide supplement issues distributed annually in March in hard copy format. Now, the SAE-P is available online, in an interactive format for an enhanced learning experience. Select SAE-Ps include direct content such as Study Guide articles while others do not and are more broadly based on a live course or general topic. Check each SAE-Ps product description for more specific information. Each SAE-P is designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and fulfills the requirement for Part II of Maintenance of Certification® (MOC) set forth by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Lifelong Learning and Self Assessment).

All SAE-Ps allow practitioners to get immediate feedback include explanation and in most cases, references for each question.

Please refer to each SAE-Ps product description for more information. The number of questions per SAE-P varies from 25 to 112 total questions. Note: The self assessment portion of these activities are meant to be completed in one sitting, and therefore does not “save your place” when you log out.
