Part of the Academy's mission is to provide continuing education in order to advance the specialty of PM&R and promote excellence in physiatric practice. Tools such as the Self-Directed Physiatric Education Program Study Guides, the Self-Assessment Exams for Practitioners (SAE-P), and the abridged Self-Assessment Exam for Residents (SAE-R), help to fulfill this mission.
